WPT HEADS UP CHAMPIONSHIP

Game Two Goes to Owen

Brad Owen holds a 3-1 chiplead as we move to the latest hand, Owen opening for 11k and Dan Dvoress coming along.

The Qc – 9 s- 9d flop gets a check-raise of 19,000 from Dvoress and a call from Owen.

Dvoress leaves himself barely a single bet behind when he leads out on the 7s turn. Owen bets enough to get the last of Dvoress’ stack in the middle and Dvoress obliges, only to find the hands troubling.

Q – 4 for Dvoress for two pair, but Owen opened this hand with Kings. The river is a blank, Owen takes down the hand and the match is now tied at one game each.

The final game in this match is now underway.
